Despite the lack of official marketing from the brand, 2016 has been the year of the Air Jordan XII. Even though no O.G. colorways have been released, every drop thus far has been met with the same response: a near-instant sell out.

With that in mind, you should expect 'heads to come out in droves for the return of these "Flu Game" XIIs. Not only is this the first proper leather retro since 2003—the release from 2009 used nubuck and details that weren't seen on the originals—but they look outstanding. These XIIs use a full-grain leather upper with vivid red overlays.

Whether you're an older head who still calls them "Black/Red" (or "Bred") or you prefer to rock with the "Flu Game" nickname, the fact of the matter is that these are one of the best Js of all-time. You'll be able to cop them from select retailers on May 28 for $190.
