During the run up to to last March’s Air Max Day it was revealed that Nike and Pendleton were going to release an Air Max 90 collaboration made from Pendleton Wool. The two brands have an excellent relationship together, after all they’re both based in Portland. As it turns out the Nike Air Max 1 and the Internationalist will getting the same treatment from the renowned wool company as well.

The upper is decked in Pendleton’s trademark wool pattern for the Air Max 1, whilst the colourful wool print is applied solely on the Air Max 90’s mudguard, the Nike Internationalist uses the Pendleton pattern all over the upper—with the exception of the eyestay, Swoosh and heel tab. Other minor details can been found on all three of the sneakers such as a luxe brown leather sock lining, subtle Pendleton tags on the side and hints of light blue detailing.

A release date for the Nike x Pendleton pack has yet to be announced, but according to the Nike Blog they should be dropping within the next month or two.
