Puma Introduces New Tsugi Shinsei Sneaker

Sneaker fans check out the slick new Puma Tsugi Shinsei. Puma’s latest silhouette from their 2017 ‘Run The Streets’ campaign takes the brand’s streetwear game to the next level pairing unconventional, Japanese-inspired design with performance-minded technology.

The new Tsugi (which translates to “next” in Japanese) model features Puma’s notoriously comfy Ignite foam midsole cushioning, as well as a new lacing system where the laces run up both sides of the upper and through the padded tongue, a mesh toe box, and an on-trend knit sock upper with a shield vamp that sits atop a rippled midsole. A tonal Puma logo appears across the heel of the lightweight sock upper offers up the perfect finishing touch on the snug-fitting, futuristic low-top sneaker.

The Tsugi comes in ‘Triple White’ and ‘Black,’ retails for $140, hitting both Canadian Puma Lab locations (337 Queen Street West in Toronto and the Bramalea City Centre in Bramalea), as well as Puma Select Footaction at the Toronto Eaton Centre on Friday, April 21st. The kicks will be available at Foot Locker and Champs locations across Canada as of Thursday, May 4th.

Of course, succeeding drops and colourways are set to pop up throughout spring ’17, including a very limited edition “Kithstrike,” which features an olive upper and orange midsole inspired by vintage aviator jackets that is exclusive to renowned sneaker shop Kith.
