As we continue with our full week of Gumball 3000 coverage, we bring you another famous face from the worldwide rally (click here if you've missed the others), who happens to be one of the only female drivers in the whole caravan: Eve. As the convoy makes its way to Toronto, read what the rapper/actress is listening to while behind the wheel, her favorite car, and the one thing she had to bring with her on the trip...
NAME: Eve
CAR: "I'm driving a Bentley GTC"
WHY THIS CAR?: "It's not what I chose, but I'm not mad. I originally chose a Bentley Flying Spur. I also asked for a Bugatti. Didn't get that either, but it's fine."
NUMBER OF GUMBALLS SO FAR: "This is my first one."
WHAT ABOUT GUMBALL INTERESTED YOU?: "Well, I will say that it appealed to my tomboy side. I love cars. I love driving fast. I have a heavy foot. And I always like being a girl in a boys' club. I gotta say, though, I forgot about the driving part. I signed up for the fun. [Laughs.] A couple of days ago, I was like, "Yo, I gotta drive a lot of hours." And I'm not a long distance driver. The longest I've ever driven was probably like six hours straight. I hated it, but it'll be fun. I got good music, I got good people in the car with me."
ON THE ROAD MUST HAVES: "There are so many. You saw all my bags! Let's see: Sunglasses, lip gloss, perfume, tights. I wear Florence by Tocca. I can't go nowhere without my perfume. I won't even leave the house. It's an obsession. My iPod, my Flip [cam]—that's my new obsession. "
FAVORITE DRIVING MUSIC: "'Beamers, Benz and Bentley' on repeat. I'm going to hate that song by the time we get back [laughs]. But,nah, my iPod is stocked. I listen to reggae all the time, so there will be a lot of reggae poppin'. And a lot of old-school hip-hop."
CARS AT HOME: "I have a Porsche Cayenne. I got in trouble with the fast cars. It's one of those cars where you don't feel the need to put your foot down."
ULTIMATE RIDE: "An Aston Martin DB9. I love DB9s, they're sexy. "
