What do Ducati motorcycles and Cigarette Racing boats have in common? A lot more lately thanks to their mutual friend, Mercedes Benz's AMG performance division. AMG, who has previously collaborated on individual projects with both Ducati and Cigarette, must have seen the potential in simultaneously partnering
with the two.
The result is the latest offering from Cigarette, the 42X Ducati Edition, soon to be officially debuted at the Miami International Boat Show. Aside from the fire-engine red paint and logos, there's really not much the speedboat shares with its two-wheeled counterpart, but its dual 1,100 horsepower Mercury Racing engines should translate the Ducati's breakneck speeds to the water as accurately as possible. You should probably still wear a helmet.
