Deron Williams Has His Sights Set on Playing in Europe

He says he'll play almost anywhere except Greece.

None

No, Nets fans. This doesn't mean Deron Williams is taking his talents across the pond once his current contract expires in 2012. Rather, the crafty point guard is planning ahead, just in case an NBA lockout occurs this summer after the collective bargaining agreement runs out. "I'm already looking into playing overseas," Williams said on Tuesday. "I haven't looked anywhere in general; I'm just looking into the possibility of playing over there. But I'm not going to make a decision until after the CBA."

But there's one place he says he definitely won't go to play: Greece. "The economy is not too good in Greece right now," he said. Then again, it ain't too good here right now, is it, fam? [via ESPN]
