Sorry, boxing fans—Floyd Mayweather, Jr. isn't fighting Manny Pacquiao anytime soon. But, unfortunately, it doesn't look like he's fighting anyone else anytime soon, either. After some chatter about a possible matchup against Victor Ortiz later this year at Cowboys Stadium, Mayweather cleared the air recently and revealed his next opponent: No one!

"You're constantly hearing different rumors that Floyd is fighting this guy, Floyd is fighting that guy," he said. "At this particular time, I'm not fighting anyone...I think Victor Ortiz, he's a young, strong fighter, but the thing is this: The stories that you hear are lies, lies, lies! Period!" Well, alrighty then. R.I.P. the sport of boxing? [via Fight Hype]
