Think this guy ever made jokes about Plaxico Burress? Let's hope not. Because yesterday, a 50-year-old man accidentally shot himself in the leg inside the parking lot at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA shortly before the Giants and Patriots played. According to a police chief, the man was trying to empty the gun's chamber—and not, ya know, walking through a crowd with it tucked into his sweatpants—when it fired and struck him in the leg. The good news: The gun was licensed so, while police seized it, he shouldn't face any serious criminal charges. The bad news: This guy is going to catch hell from his buddies for "pulling a Plax" for a looooooong time, so we hope he's got thick skin. SMH. Please keep the firearms at home before NFL games, folks. [via Associated Press]
