L.L. Bean is celebrating their 100th anniversary, and what better way to showcase what the company has come to represent than to create a larger-than-life, vehicular model of their most iconic product? Standing at 13 ft. high and 20 ft. long, the L.L. Bean "Bootmobile" is a fiberglass replica of the brand's Maine Hunting Boot attached to a Ford F-250 Super Duty Diesel truck. The bootmobile will be taking a tour of major U.S. cities this year, to be kicked off with a public unveiling at Times Square. Check out this video of the making of the bootmobile for an idea of what it took to get this thing on the road.
