Say what you want about Charles Barkley. But you can't say the guy doesn't keep it 100. Even when he's talking about his close friends.

During a radio interview yesterday, he was asked about the job that his good pal and former on-court rival Michael Jordan is doing with the Charlotte Bobcats. And, somewhat surprisingly, Chuck didn't pull any punches with his analysis of MJ and said a couple things that'll probably have Jordan ignoring his texts for a few days.

"I love Michael," he said on ESPN 1000's The Waddle & Silvy Show, "but he just has not done a good job. Even though he is one of my great friends, I can't get on here and tell you he's done a great job. He has not done a great job, plain and simple."

And why hasn't he done a great job? Barkley had a response for that, too. "I think the biggest problem has been I don't know if he has hired enough people around him who he will listen to," he said. "One thing about being famous is the people around you, you pay all their bills so they very rarely disagree with you because they want you to pick up the check. They want to fly around on your private jet so they never disagree with you. I don't think Michael has hired enough people around him who will disagree."

Word. We respect the fact that you aren't like that, Chuck. And while we don't necessarily agree with everything you have to say, you've got a point here. MJ has stunk as an NBA executive—and no one's really had the balls yet to call him on it. That's not helping him or the Bobcats right now.
