Mazda is currently working on a next generation Miata, which is fantastic news in and of itself. The big news is that this new reliable, nimble, lightweight, Japanese roadster will underpin the 2015 Alfa Romeo Spider. The Alfa will, however, feature its own engine – probably the upcoming 230hp 1.8L four – and suspension tuning.
