Two days ago, ESPN announced that Erin Andrews was leaving, even after the network "made an aggressive offer to keep her." Following the news of her departure, many speculated that the 34-year-old broadcaster would be taking her talents to FOX Sports. Well, fast forward to today and the worst kept secret has now been made official by the woman herself:
It is official…I'm going to @FOXsports.An incredible opportunity for me & cannot wait to start! CFB kickoff is two months from today!
Always the professional, Erin also took the time send a "thank you" tweet to her former employers:
Going to miss my @ESPN family and the @collegegameday crew. Will always appreciate everything all of you did for me.#Respect #ThankYou
Through all the highs and the lows during her time with ESPN, it's good to see her still appreciative for her time with the network. See you when college football rolls around.
