We haven't been able to see the skin of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette yet, but today, we get our first view of the C7's heart, the LT1. It's a 450hp, 6.2-liter small block V8 with 450 lb-ft of torque, giving it a 0-60 time of less than four seconds. Thanks to features like direct fuel injection, cylinder deactivation and continuously variable valve timing, the aluminum block is actually heavier than the current model. The fifth-generation engines will be pumped out at the Tonawanda plant in Buffalo, NY.
