Around this time last year, Gabby Douglas seriously contemplated quitting gymnastics. Of course, Gabby couldn't foresee what was in the cards for her, like becoming the first African American gymnast to win a gold medal in the all-around gymnastics event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. But calling it quits wasn't even the best part.

If she did go through with quitting gymnastics, Gabby was going to try and get a job at Chick-fil-A. Maaaaaan, could you imagine having the 16-year-old take your order at the neighborhood fast food chain instead of seeing her on a Corn Flakes box in your nearby grocery store?

Hey, maybe she would've crossed paths with former Lakers coach Mike Brown
