This one doesn't involve Manti Te'o.

Are you already tired of the hoax involving Manti Te'o? Us, too. All the news about Te'o came out so quickly and so suddenly that it was only a matter of time before we became uninterested. But, not to worry! We've got another bizarre hoax involving the Notre Dame football program to tell you about.

Over the weekend, a highly-recruited high school football player named Stanley Williams (see his photo in the thumbs gallery) made a trip to Notre Dame. And, after doing so, he gave a whole interview where he talked about how great his trip to South Bend was.

"The visit went great," he said afterwards. "It was great to experience something new and different…I had been looking forward to it for awhile, and it was great to just get out there and see a new place. I plan on getting up there a couple more times in the future."

Sounds innocent enough, right? High school recruits make visits to college campuses every single day, and the one Williams took seemed relatively routine. Oh, except for one small detail: Williams didn't actually go to Notre Dame this week. He just talked about it as if he did…and stayed at home. Much like Lennay Kekua, Williams' trip to ND was completely fictional.

It forced the site that wrote about him to attach a disclaimer to the top of their report that, more or less, said that everything that followed was BS. And, it made Williams look like a liar for making up a bunch of stuff about a visit that he never took. SMH. Notre Dame just can't catch a break right now, can they?
