The Gumball 3000 has been described as one of the most dangerous road races in the world. For those unfamiliar with the event, it's essentially a bunch of rich dudes screaming around the world for 3000 miles in over-powered supercars.
Yesterday, this Lamborghini Murcielago LP-670 SV became the first victim of this year's race. Prior to reaching the first checkpoint, the driver reportedly goosed the throttle on wet roads (what a dumb-ass), plunging the car off of the slick pavement and into the woods.
Hopefully, other drivers participating in the race will be a little less "douchebaggy."
