Three of Navy's football players are being investigated for a sexual assault case that stems from last year. The victim's attorney says the victim woke up after a night of heavy drinking at an off-campus party and found out through social media that the three football players were claiming they had sex with her.

The incident, which occurred in Annapolis, MD, happened on April 2012. The victim told her attorney that she had to Naval criminal investigators about what happened, but she ended up getting disciplined for drinking while the accused played the following football season. The case was reopened after the victim turned to legal help.

Unfortunately, this is the latest such incident to occur in the military, which is a problem President Obama addressed in his speech to the Naval Academy's graduating class: “Those who commit sexual assault are not only committing a crime, they threaten the trust and discipline that make our military strong."
