We actually didn't know this until right now, but the Baltimore Ravens cheerleading squad has more than just females patrolling the sidelines during home games. The Ravens cheerleading team has also had males on the squad since 1996, making it the only co-ed cheer team in the entire NFL. And sadly, one of the team's male members passed away late last week after getting into a motorcycleaccident.

The cheerleader, 27-year old Dion Bagby, passed away shortly after his bike collided with a car on Route 15 in Frederick, Va. last Friday. According to a police report, he hit the car while it was trying to make a left-hand turn on the busy road. Medics attempted to revive him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

"This is such sad news," Ravens spokesman Kevin Byrne said in a statement, "and the entire Ravens family is in mourning."

Be careful out there on your bikes, guys. It's dangerous this time of year, even for experienced riders.
