There's been some speculation on forward Josh Smith possibly joining up with Dwight Howard in Houston. It turns out he won't be joining him; Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Smith has agreed to a four-year/$56 million deal with the Pistons:
Smith is one of the better high school draftees, and although his points average took a slight dip last season, he's still a solid addition to the Pistons' frontcourt.
