The #70 SpeedSource Castrol Edge Mazda6 SKYACTIV-D Clean Diesel made history at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Friday. Taking first place at the Grand-AM race in the GX class, the diesel Mazda became both the first Mazda to win a race at the brickyard, and the first diesel. It was also the fifth consecutive win for the Mazda6 in the series.

As big proponents of diesel engines, we hope victories like that mean that we'll set down a path that gives us an even chance at some of the efficient and torque-tastic diesels that the European market has access to.
