Forget dirty cars unintentionally begging to be drawn on, now there's a car asking by design for the public's doodles. Philip Romano—a psychology major at SUNY-Geneseo, but self-described artist—covered his 2004 Hyundai Elantra with chalkboard paint. In case leaving chalk with the car wasn't a big enough hint, he also purchased vanity plates that read, "DRAWONME".

New York couldn't be a more perfect display for this public art display. Romano parked the car last Friday in front of the MOMA and people "swarmed" to add their drawings. Apparently the dude wants to parlay the media attention into a graphic design internship, and for that, we salute him. It's certainly better than a cover letter dryer than a Maytag.
