At the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show, Audi will unveil new features for the 2015 Audi A8 series, namely these LED strip turn signals. 18 LEDs flashing in sequential order make up the headlights (think of those neon arrows that you see on major highways or on billboards advertising all-you-can-eat barbecue), and 24 flashing LEDs are in the tail lights. The lights flash at changing intervals and increase in brightness before the sequence starts again. Before you get too excited, the punchline is that these probably won't be available in the United States due to current automobile regulations, but they are still cool to dream about. The lights should be easier to discern from a distance in bright sunlight, and they'll make your car look a little like KITT from Knight Rider.
