Can the 2013-14 NFL seasonplease just start already?! That has to be what every single New England Patriots fan is thinking right now. Because after experiencing a really tough offseason due to Aaron Hernandez's legal troubles and Rob Gronkowski's injuries, the Patriots may now have to worry about their starting quarterback Tom Brady missing some time.

During practice today, Brady reportedly felt something strange happening within his left knee, the same knee that caused him to miss the entire 2008 season with a torn ACL. It doesn't appear to be anything major at this point. But it was enough to force Brady to leave practice early to consult with the team doctors about it. Not surprisingly, the Patriots haven't commented on Brady's injury yet (and they probably won't!). But we'll keep an eye out to see if there's anything to worry about for Pats fans.

Let's hope not. After all they've gone through this offseason, the last thing they need is to hear that Tom Brady will have to miss any period of time because of a knee issue.

UPDATE:

An MRI that was taken on Brady's knee came back negative. He is currently being listed as day-to-day by the Patriots.
