It's almost time for Mariano Rivera to put his MLB career to bed. With just six games remaining on the Yankees 2013 MLB schedule, the long-time New York reliever will probably only make a few more appearances for the Bronx Bombers before he hangs up his cleats for good. So prior to yesterday's Giants/Yankees game at Yankee Stadium, the Yankees paid tribute to Rivera with a special 50-minute celebration.

The team put together a five-minute video that they played yesterday featuring some of Rivera's former and current teammates, including Derek Jeter, Andy Pettitte, and Bernie Williams. They also hung up his No. 42 in Yankee Stadium's Monument Park. And maybe most impressively, the Yankees invited Metallica to pay a visit to the stadium to play "Enter Sandman" live. Rivera has used the song as his entrance track every time he has come out of the bullpen for years now.

Check out part of the Metallica performance in the clip above. Pretty cool, right?
