The Mazda Miata GT Will Be Produced

More power, better handling, but no Recaros?

So yes, we did say that it's going to be produced, but don't get all up in arms because nowhere in that headline said that it would be produced by Mazda. The Miata GT is coming to the market as a kit that bumps the 157 hp engine all the way up to 203 with nothing more than an ECU tune and an exhaust system and some suspension updates to sharpen the handling.

Unfortunately, the kit isn't going to include the tires or Recaro seats that were on the Miata GT concept car, and it might not make its way to America. If it does, we think it will probably cost between $30,000 and $32,000.
