We all love the Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ and we all wish it had just a little bit more power. As it stands, the car is relatively quick, but we want to see a slightly more expensive giant killer made out of this astounding car. Luckily for us, Toyota and Subaru (Fuji Heavy Industries) have just jointly filed for a pair of patents for what seems to be just that.
We think the first car shown here is going to be a Toyota/Scion product. Why? That rear spoiler looks identical to the one on the Toyota GT86 TRD development car. Does this mean that a street legal version of the Ferrari-quick TRD Griffon is coming?
As for the car with the weird-looking roof spoiler: We wouldn't be surprised to hear that that one is a Subaru, since Subaru has been known to use weird looking roof spoilers before. Is this a BRZ STi?
