So much for Portugal being off their game because of the stunt that a Swedish radio station pulled on them this morning! Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic finally gave us the mano-a-mano goalfest we've been waiting for, and it was CR7 who came out on top. His FIFA-worthy hat trick led Portugal a 3-2 victory over Sweden—and a berth in the 2014 World Cup.
Ronaldo got the action started with a goal at the 50-minute mark:
Then, Ibra responded with two goals of his own at the 68 and 72-minute marks to put his team up 2-1 in the second-leg playoff (but needing a third goal to advance because of the away-goal rule). Here's both of them:
