Business Week unsurprisingly published a profile of GM's new CEO, Mary Barra. What was surprising was that this was the first notice the press got of a new car that will hopefully hit the markets in 2016

Said car would essentially be the successor to the Volt. Those are some rather small shoes to fill, and this new Volt will clearly need to see the cobbler about that, since the goal is to manage a 200-mile electric range for under $30,000. If GM can pull this off, it's going to be at least as big of a deal as the Prius was.
