This week Audi will unveil a concept car with laser beams in the home of Dr. Evil's first secret lair. The German car manufacturer announced it will unveil the plug-in hybrid Audi Sport quattro laserlight concept car—that's a mouthful—at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The "laserlight" refers to the laser beams in the car's headlights

The headlights will utilize matrix LEDs for the low beams, and the laserlights for the high beams. The latter, which is three times more luminous than LEDs, can light up the road for "about 1,640 feet." The inside of the car is also high-tech. Its high-res TFT display is capable of 3D graphics. This is probably just the beginning of the sweet rides we'll see at the CES.
