Before Cristiano Ronaldo, there was Eusebio. The Portugal soccer legend passed away at age 71 after suffering a heart attack. Eusebio was in and out of the hospital over the past year battling heart and respiratory issues.

Eusebio is known as one of the greatest to ever do it because of his excellent dribbling skills, fearsome speed, and his ability to find the back of the net. He scored 733 times in his 745 professional matches. He was Portugal's top league scorer seven times, enjoyed 10 league championships and five cups in his 15 years with Benfica, and won the 1965 European Footballer of the Year. He also notably scored nine goals during the 1966 World Cup. Eusebio kept busy as soccer's ambassador after his retirement in 1979. He'll be sorely missed in the soccer world and beyond for his achievement in the sport as well as his passion for it:
