Earlier today, we told you all about how attorney Ted Wellsreleased his report concerning Jonathan Martin, Richie Incognito, and the allegations of bullying that surrounded the Miami Dolphins organization at the end of the 2013-14 NFL season. In his report, Wells concluded that Incognito and his Dolphins teammates John Jerry and Mike Pounceydid engage in a "pattern of harassment directed at not only Jonathan Martin but also another young Dolphins offensive lineman and an assistant trainer." But Wells' report goes much deeper than that. Much, much, much deeper than that.

It took us awhile to work our way through it. But we read through the entire report and, frankly, we were shocked at some of the things that Wells was able to find out. We aren't naive; we realize that NFL players say some really insensitive and offensive things to one another in the locker room. But according to Wells, Incognito & Co. went out of their way to humiliate their teammates on a regular basis by saying and doing some really wild things.

What kinds of things? Well, to save you from having to read the entire 142-page Wells report, we went through and picked out the 10 craziest things that we read in the report. Just a warning: Some of the things listed here are really graphic. And we'd also like to point out that Incognito, Jerry, and Pouncey denied that they took part in some of these things. But they appeared in the report anyway. Prepare to be disgusted…

  1. Martin claims that Incognito, Jerry, and Pouncey frequently made sexually explicit remarks about his sister, who none of the men had ever met. On one occasion, one of the men reportedly said, "Hey, Jmart's sister is in town. Get the plastic sheets ready, she's a squirter." Another time, one of them reportedly said, "I'm going to bang the shit out of her and spit on her and treat her like shit." Martin says their comments about her were made almost daily.
  2. Martin claims that Incognito used the word "nigger" to address him on more than one occasion. He also claims that Incognito used words like "liberal mulatto bitch" and "stinky Pakistani" to describe him and often referred to him as "my bitch" in the locker room and on the football field.
  3. In April 2013, Martin emailed his mother and told her that he felt like he was being bullied by his teammates. "I figured out a major source of my anxiety," he wrote. "I'm a push over, a people pleaser. I avoid confrontation whenever I can, I always want everyone to like me. I let people talk about me, say anything to my face, and I just take it, laugh it off, even when I know they are intentionally trying to disrespect me." Later, he also wrote, "I care about my legacy as a professional athlete. But I'm miserable currently…I really don't know what to do, Mom."
  4. A month after emailing his mother about the problems he was having with the Dolphins, Martin sent her several text messages during an outing on a yacht with Incognito and Pouncey. "I'm never gonna change," Martin wrote in a text message to his mom. "I got punked again today. Like a little bitch. And I never do anything about it. I was sobbing in a rented yacht bathroom earlier."
  5. Martin's mother made a trip to Fort Lauderdale, Fla. to see her son in the spring of 2013. Several of Martin's teammates saw her and reportedly asked him if she was "available." According to Wells' report, Jerry was one of those players, and he told Martin that he could have sex with Martin's mom and sister at the same time.

"I'm never gonna change," Martin wrote in a text message to his mom. "I got punked again today...And I never do anything about it. I was sobbing in a rented yacht bathroom earlier."

  6. Wells reports that Martin was not the only Dolphins player who was reportedly being harassed by Incognito, Jerry, and Pouncey. Another Miami offensive lineman, whose name is not listed in the report, also told Wells that he was frequently subjected to harassment. He told him that the players directed gay jokes at him. He also talked about a time when Pouncey allegedly restrained him in the locker room and told Jerry to "come get some pussy." And he told Wells that Dolphins offensive line coach Jim Turner participated in the jokes about him and once gave him a blow-up doll for Christmas.
  7. Dolphins players weren't the only ones reportedly being harassed by Incognito, Jerry, and Pouncey. According to Wells' report, they also verbally harassed one of the Dolphins' assistant trainers, who is Asian, by calling him a "dirty communist" and jokingly threatening him on the anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 2012. The trainer texted Martin shortly after he stormed out of the Dolphins facility in October and said, "Hey JM I understand how [y]ou feel man…They are relentless sometime…Some day I wanna do exactly what you did today."
  8. In December 2012, Incognito reportedly had a text message conversation with a white Dolphins teammate about buying guns. While speaking about a specific type of gun, the white teammate, who is not identified in the report, told Incognito, "Especially if u plan living in Arizona in the future, that's exactly what you want." Incognito responded, "Yea. For picking off zombies…That and black people." A few days later, they discussed a different type of gun and Incognito wrote, "Perfect for shooting black people."
  9. Another Dolphins offensive lineman Nate Garner told Wells that he had been subjected to years of bullying courtesy of Incognito. Garner, who was selected by the Dolphins in the 2008 NFL Draft, revealed that Incognito frequently made fun of him for taking an interest in things like computers. Incognito also knew that Garner owned several guns and reportedly joked that Garner would shoot up the Dolphins locker room one day. "Hey bro if u need to talk to anyone I'm here for ya," Garner texted to Martin in October 2013. "I have been dealing with this shit for 6 years. I hope ur doin ok."
  10. In May 2013, Martin actually sat down and made a list of the pros and cons of continuing his NFL career. In the pro column were things like "Football games are fun," "I can make a lot of money playing football and be set for life," and "If I quit, I'll be known as a quitter for the rest of my life." In the con column were things like "I hate going in everyday," "I am unable to socialize with my teammates in their crude manner," and "Why do I care about these people? All I need is my family."

Wild, right? There's been no word yet on what penalties, if any, Incognito, Jerry, Pouncey, or the Dolphins organization as a whole will face from the NFL. But make sure you stay tuned. Because as you can see, this report is filled with crazy facts and allegations. So the NFL is going to have to make some tough calls in the weeks to come.
