For the last three months or so, attorney Ted Wells has been looking into the allegations of bullying that Jonathan Martin made against some of his Dolphins teammates back in November. Through his own lawyer, Martin alleged that he had decided to leave the Dolphins before the end of the 2013-14 NFL season because he was being bullied by his teammate Richie Incognito as well as several other players. So NFL Commissioner Roger Goodellhandpicked Wells to investigate Martin's allegations and to file a full report on what he was able to find.

A short time ago, Wells released his report to the NFL, who then released it to the public. And if you're Incognito, what's in the report is not good. According to Wells, Incognito as well as his teammates John Jerry and Mike Pouncey "engaged in a pattern of harassment directed at not only Jonathan Martin but also another young Dolphins offensive lineman and an assistant trainer. The Report finds that the assistant trainer repeatedly was the object of racial slurs and other racially derogatory language; that the other offensive lineman was subjected to homophobic name-calling and improper physical touching; and that Martin was taunted on a persistent basis with sexually explicit remarks about his sister and his mother and at times ridiculed with racial insults and other offensive comments."

Wells continued: "The Report rejects any suggestion that Martin manufactured claims of abuse…The Report concluded that the harassment by Martin's teammates was a contributing factor in his decision to leave the team, but also finds that Martin's teammates did not intend to drive Martin from the team or cause him lasting emotional injury."

So basically, Wells found that Incognito, Jerry, and Pouncey didn't mean to get Martin so worked up that he would eventually quit the team. But at the same time, they did contribute to him making the decision to leave the Dolphins.

You can read through the full 142-page report over here. It's long, and we're still working our way through it. But there are some really crazy (and frankly, really disgusting) details in there about exactly how Incognito, Jerry, and Pouncey reportedly harassed their teammates. And we imagine that the report is going to open a whole new can of worms when it comes to the futures of all three players with the Dolphins. Stay tuned.
