Style isn’t always a positive progression. On the whole, you wouldn’t say the cars of the 1980’s looked much better than their 1970’s counterparts. Morgan Motor Company is of the same school of thought, which is why its designs have changed relatively little since 1950.

However, at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, Morgan will unveil a more powerful version of its Plus 4. There are no details regarding specific upgrades, but buyers can expect it to remain a four-cylinder engine, as the name implies. The current Plus 4 features a 2.0L Ford Duratec engine producing 145hp and 140 lb.-ft. of torque, driving the rear wheels through a five-speed Mazda manual transmission. This gives the flyweight coupe a zero to 60mph dash of under 7.5 seconds. Quite nippy.
