We love when companies use social media to call out their competitors. It's usually done lightheartedly but still projects an air of confidence. So we're disappointed that Nissandeleted their tweet that poked fun of Tesla's woes in New Jersey.
In case you forgot, Tesla is battling with New Jersey legislators over a law that would ban the electric car company from selling directly to customers. Because Nissan sells through dealerships it doesn't have similar woes. Pointing that out with the above photo was an act of stuntin'.
It turns out that nobody directly from Nissan posted the tweet to the Nissan Leaf account. An ad agency actually runs the account. When Nissan saw the offending tweet they asked the agency to take it down. With it gone @NissanLeaf can now return to its boring ways.
