If Elon Musk can't talk himself out of a speeding ticket with Johnny Depp sitting shotgun, the rest of us are hopeless. Unless, of course, you can charm better than a man who's selling America on electric cars or the guy who's wifed up Amber Heard.
Depp told The Sunabout the time Musk showed up to the set of Transcendence and gave cast members a ride in a Tesla Model S. When it was Depp's turn, with Paul Bettany sitting on his lap, Musk was pulled over for speeding. While Musk laughed off the incident, the police officer didn't. "Elon had a good sense of humor about it," Depp said. "The cop did not. He needed a humor chip. But it was a good time, nonetheless."
