Concept cars have a tendency to be like fast food; you take it in, move along, and forget about it for a while. Infiniti’s Q50 Eau Rouge concept (officially now a prototype) is a bit more like a five course meal.

The company has been hard at work testing the Eau Rouge, thanks to help from some guy named Sebastian Vettel – hmm, maybe he’ll be a champion someday. Joking aside, Infiniti will release a short film at the Beijing Auto Show of Vettel wringing out the Q50 at the Millbrook Proving Ground, in the UK. Take a look at the teaser above.

Further information regarding the Q50 Eau Rouge prototype will be released on April 20, but here is what we know so far. Nissan nabbed its 3.8L twin-turbo V6 from the GT-R and dropped it under the hood of the Eau Rouge, with output estimates around 560hp and 443 lb.-ft. of torque. The GT-R’s all-wheel-drive system was chucked in favor of a 50:50 torque split system, capable of jolting the car from 0-60mph in less than four seconds.

The only downside is that hideous faux-F1 rear bumper, which after close inspection of the video…looks unchanged since Geneva.
