The Volkswagen Kombi is, at this point, severely out of date, and as a result of that it has finally been discontinued. Some Brazilian legislators tried to pass an exemption for the beloved bus, but the time has come, and the Kombi must face the music.
Given that VW's proposed bus successor got cut down by the accountants, this means that an era is over. The thing is that the Kombi's impact on our culture went far, far beyond transportation, and that's exactly what this video shows. It's heartbreaking and beautiful, and will probably impact you more than you think it will.
