The 2017 VW e-Golf Could Come With Wireless Charging

Way easier than stopping for gas.

Stopping for gas is annoying, largely because you're only ever in danger of running out at the most inconvenient moments. You're never driving home with a free evening when you need to stop, you're trying to complete a 30 minute drive to the airport in 22 minutes to make a flight when that little orange light turns on. Also annoying is getting home and having to plug in an electric car.

That's why the 2017 VW e-Golf is set to include wireless charging. Owners will just drive over an induction plat in their garage and the car will start to charge. Sounds bloody perfect to us. Of course, VW doesn't want to jump the gun and include an induction charging method that would later become obsolete, so the company will be watching the market closely to see what the standard will be.
