Early Saturday morning, police were called to the Kirkland, Wash. home of Hope Solo and husband Jerramy Stevens "because of an assault and a noise disturbance" stemming from a party which police Lt. Mike Murray described as an "out-of-control situation." When the authorities arrived, they arrested Solo on two counts of investigation of domestic-violence assault for allegedly striking her sister and nephew who had "visible injuries on them."

At some point during the gathering, an argument broke out between the 32-year-old U.S. Women's Soccer goalkeeper and her relatives. Solo is currently being held without bail. We will update you with more information when it becomes available.

UPDATE: According to KING5.com's Chris Daniels, Kirkland police department responded to a 911 call that a female at the home was “hitting people” and "they could not get her to stop or to leave the house.” When officers arrived to the couple's residence, Hope was described as "intoxicated and upset." Solo's first court appearance will be on Monday.
