A freak accident in Japan has us saying, “Goodbye, Mr. Bond.” This exceedingly rare Toyota 2000GT fell victim to a tree earlier this month, which crushed the car, but thankfully left the driver with only minor cuts and bruises.
The iconic 2000GT starred alongside Sean Connery in the 1967 James Bond film, You Only Live Twice, and apparently that same sentiment applies to the car as well. This 2000GT, one of only 351 ever built, is reported to start undergoing a full restoration and repair.
Why go through all that trouble? These cars have been known to sell for (raises pinky finger to mouth) one million dollars.
