Earlier today, we noticed that John Wall was trending on Twitter. And we couldn't help but wonder why. After all, the Wizards guard isn't playing in the NBA Playoffs anymore. So what could he have possibly done to turn himself into a trending topic on a random Tuesday afternoon?

As it turns out, not much! All he did was pose for a photo with a girl named Aaleeyah Petty (a girl who has reportedly dated Nuggets forward Quincy Miller) on Saturday night, which ended up on Twitter:

And when that photo started making the rounds on social media today, there were quite a few people who started acting thirsty on Twitter. Really, really thirsty. Just check out some of the tweets that we've come across over the course of the last couple hours:

Then again, it's kind of hard to hate on everybody who's commenting on the photo. Just check out the thumbs gallery above to see some of the photos that Petty has up on her Instagram page.

There's been no word yet on whether or not Petty and Wall are dating or what. But if they are, we're sure social media wouldn't be mad at Wall. At all.
