Matthew Inman, the cartoonish behind "The Oatmeal" raised enough money on Kickstarter last year to save the Nikola Tesla museum, simply because he's a big fan of Tesla's awesome work. However, the museum still needed millions of dollars of renovations so, after doing a cartoon review of his Model S asked Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk for financial help.

Musk came through, and will donate $1,000,000 to the museum and build a supercharger station in the parking lot, so that fans of Tesla's electrical wonder machines can charge their "Ultrastealth Ninja Cars" quickly while they visit.

As fans of Tesla's coils, and wireless electricity, and rumored anti-gravity devices, we're also very appreciateive that Iron Man Elon Musk has stepped up to the plate to save the museum.
