Can you believe Lil Wayne used the words "Mario Chalmers" and "beast" in the same sentence today?

First things first: We like Mario Chalmers as a player. The guy was great at Kansas and, while we didn't necessarily agree with him when he said that he thinks he's one of the best point guards in the NBA back in 2012, we do think he's got some serious skills on the court. In fact, we'd go as far as to say that, without Chalmers, LeBron James might not have two championship rings right now (remember this?).

That being said, we've never used the words "Mario Chalmers" and "beast" in the same sentence before because, well, it just doesn't sound right. "Damian Lillard is a beast"? Sure. "John Wall is a beast"? Yup. "Kyrie Irving is a beast"? You betcha. But "Mario Chalmers is a beast"? Ehhhh.

During this morning's episode of ESPN First Take, though, Lil Wayne made an appearance. And he said that the Heat might have a chance of being pretty good next season because—ahem—he thinks Mario Chalmers is a "beast." And our collective reaction was…"Wut?"

We weren't alone, either. Wayne got destroyed on Twitter for suggesting that Chalmers is a beast:

No, really. Destroyed

LMAO.

So let us pose this question: Do you think Chalmers is a "beast"? Or was Wayne talking craz, er, krazy?
