New Mexico Women's Soccer is Facing Some Pretty Heavy Hazing Accusations

The University of new Mexico women's soccer team is facing hazing accusations including: stripping, urine spraying and dangerous amounts of alcohol.

None

The new school year has just begun and already the University of New Mexico has some hazing allegations to deal with. It didn't come from the football team, or wrestling team, or any of the programs you'd associate with a hazing stereotype. Nope, the team that's under fire is the women's soccer--*looks at headline*--oh, you already know. Since this just occurred on Sunday night, we're sure there's still many details that we're unaware of. But according to a parent of one of the victims, the incoming freshman were forced to strip naked and drink dangerous amounts of alcohol. After that they were sprayed with urine (though, whose is unclear).

Fortunately (for the perpetrators involved) the event took place in New Mexico, which is one of only six states in the U.S. that doesn't have anti-hazing laws. Still that didn't prevent one victim's parents from hiring a lawyer, which is always a good first step if you (or someone you love) has been sprayed with piss.
