Earlier today, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers met with Richie Incognito with a possibility of offering him a contract hanging in the balance. The Bucs, who are desperately seeking out help at the offensive line position, would benefit from a player like Incognito, but they could definitely do without the baggage that comes with the 31-year-old guard. Either way, it seemed as though no matter what Tampa Bay decided to do, there was the possibility that they could face some adversity from the NFL who could impose some additional penalties on Richie. Apparently, that is no longer an issue.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the "NFL cleared former Dolphins G Richie Incognito on Monday for return to 'full activity and regular-season game participation.'" Now, the ball is in the Bucs' court. And judging from how desperate Tampa Bay is for O-line help, the writing is on the wall.
