Did Pedro Martinez Troll Barry Bonds on Twitter Today?

It sure looked like Martinez welcomed Bonds to Twitter by trolling him.

On Wednesday, Barry Bonds joined Twitter. And while he hasn't really said or done anything too crazy on the social media site—he's still trying to get the hang of it—he may have gotten trolled by Pedro Martinez earlier today.

A couple of hours ago, Martinez took to his own Twitter account to reveal that he was doing some press about his induction into the Latino Hall of Fame:

1.

And Bonds responded to Martinez's tweet by congratulating him:

2.

But then, things got a little bit weird. Martinez thanked Bonds in a tweet, but he also made a reference to Bonds going to the Hall of Fame soon:

3.

And that had a lot of people wondering whether or not Martinez was trolling Bonds with his tweet.

If so, that's one of the best trolls we've ever seen. Bonds isn't going to see Martinez in Cooperstown anytime soon because there's a 0.0 percent chance of Bonds getting voted into the Hall of Fame due to his alleged ties to PEDs.

But even if Martinez wasn't trolling Bonds, this is still a "Welcome to Twitter!" moment for the all-time home run leader. He didn't actually do anything on Twitter yet, but he's already making news for all the wrong reasons. So how much longer do you think he'll last on it?
