Over the weekend, Jay Pharoah appeared in a sketch on Saturday Night Live that called for him to do an impersonation of former NFL great/current NFL analyst Shannon Sharpe. And it was…not very good. He kinda, sorta sounded like Sharpe at times. But it definitely didn't get the same positive reaction that Pharoah's impersonation of Stephen A. Smith got last SNL season.

Apparently, Sharpe himself wasn't a big fan of it, either. He took to Twitter earlier today and revealed that he thought Pharoah's impression was "horrible."

1.

That was a horrible impersonation. "@TheRegularGuys: Good to see our buddy @ShannonSharpe on SNL this weekend - http://t.co/j5h2vhn0wS"

You can watch the entire sketch above. Sharpe's hate is justified, right? Not that Pharoah is sweating it:

2.

Shannon Sharpe is awesome lol
