Ben Roethlisberger set Pittsburgh Steelers franchise records for pass yards and passing touchdowns in a game, and also became the first QB in NFL history to have two games of 500-plus passing yards as he led the Steelers to a 51-34 win over the Colts.

Big Ben was making it rain all game, but especially in the second quarter. He threw three TD passes in that period alone, including two strikes to Antonio Brown just over three minutes apart. Brown finished the game with 10 receptions for 133 yards and the two touchdowns, and he now has 50 catches for 719 yards on the season.

The Colts certainly put up a good fight despite falling behind 35-10, scoring 10 points in the final two minutes of the first half and trailing by just eight with the ball near the beginning of the 4th quarter. An Andrew Luck intentional grounding penalty in the end zone effectively ended their comeback, though, as Indy fell to 5-3 at the halfway point of their season.

The Steelers improved to 5-3, and at the halfway point things are incredibly tight in the AFC North between them, Cincinnati (4-2-1), Baltimore (5-3), and Cleveland (4-3).
