On Sunday, the Detroit Lions were narrowly defeated by the Buffalo Bills following a last-second, 58-yard field goal from Buffalo kicker Dan Carpenter to put the Bills up 17-14. The loss was a bitter one, not only because Detroit led for the majority of the game, nor the three missed field goals by their now-former kicker Alex Henery. No, the loss stung the most because Detroit's former head coach Jim Schwartz now serves as the defensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills. And, after getting his revenge, Schwartz made sure that everyone in D-Town knew how good he felt about the win.

After the game, Schwartz celebrated the win by having a couple of his players carry him off the field on their shoulders, a gesture that did not go unnoticed by Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate and his teammates.

Today, while speaking on the radio with Detroit Sports 105.1, Tate gave his thoughts on Schwartz's overzealous celebration. According to WXYZ-Detroit's Tom Leyden, these were Tate's remarks:

Tate also chided the Bills by implying that they handled the loss immaturely, calling the regular season win their "Rudy moment."

Of course, Tate is no stranger to "total douche moves" of his own. Let's not forget about Tate's own immaturity last season, when the former Seahawks receiver taunted a St. Louis Rams cornerback while making his way into the end zone.

Regardless, if it is true that Schwartz planned this gesture prior to the game, then, well, he is a sort of douche, right? And, really, would that surprise anyone? After all, this is Jim Schwartz we're talking about, you guys.
