The first rule of ice skating is don't fall directly on your face. Vancouver Canucks anthem singer Mark Donnelly broke that rule. Hard.

Trying to remember the words to a song while skating around an ice rink is a difficult task to begin with, but Donnelly, who was in the middle of belting out "O Canada" before a junior hockey game, got a little too cocky with it. Clearly enamored with the sound of his own voice and that breathtaking mullet, Donnelly skated right over the rug that had been laid out in the middle of the ice. He ate it immediately. Donnelly tried to play his wipeout off, continuing on with the song while attempting to get up, but the rug did not want to cooperate. He finally got up and just held the mic out to the crowd to sing, like "OK guys, take it from here, I've hit rock bottom." The crowd cheers his effort, proving once and for all that Canadians really are the most polite people in the universe.
